No instant plans for Islamabad cricket stadium: CDA chairman

Capital Growth Authority (CDA) Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa has mentioned that there’s at the moment no plan to assemble a cricket stadium in Islamabad, dismissing reviews circulating in sections of the native media.

He added that former cricketer Rashid Latif has been roped in to help with the upgradation of the bottom positioned in F-9 Park.

The CDA chief clarified that whereas a gathering has been held with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) relating to a possible stadium mission, no closing determination has been taken.

“Experts will determine the location if a stadium is to be constructed in the future,” he mentioned, underscoring that any determination could be made solely after skilled assessments.

Randhawa additional mentioned that pitches within the cricket grounds below building could be ready to worldwide requirements, and that the CDA was dedicated to growing high quality amenities for a number of sports activities throughout Islamabad.
