Pakistan-India World Championship of Legends 2025 conflict referred to as off

The much-anticipated World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025 fixture between cricketing arch-rivals Pakistan and India has been formally referred to as off.

The match, which was scheduled to happen on Sunday at Edgbaston, has been referred to as off after organisers confirmed the cancellation by an official assertion shared on the event’s social media deal with.

“We at WCL have always cherished and loved cricket, and our only aim has been to give fans some good, happy moments,” the assertion learn.

“However, we have decided to call off the India vs Pakistan match,” the assertion added.

“We sincerely apologise for hurting sentiments and hope people will understand that all we ever wanted was to bring a few happy moments to the fans.”

It’s pertinent to say that the Inexperienced Shirts, led by Mohammad Hafeez, received the WCL 2025 opener towards the England Champions by a slim margin of 5 runs.

Chasing 161, England had been restricted to 155-3 in 20 overs, courtesy of a decent remaining over by Sohail Khan, who efficiently defended 16 runs and conceded solely 10 to safe the victory for his facet.
