Leg spinner Usman Qadir on Thursday introduced retirement from Pakistan cricket, saying every second with the nationwide facet formed his profession and enriched his life.
In a social media submit, the 31-year-old thanked coaches and colleagues for his or her help in his journey.
“Today, I am announcing my retirement from Pakistan cricket, and as I reflect on this incredible journey, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude. It has been an immense honor to represent my country, and I’m thankful for the support of my coaches and teammates who have been with me every step of the way.
“From unforgettable victories to the challenges we confronted collectively, every second has formed my profession and enriched my life. I am deeply appreciative of the passionate followers who’ve all the time stood by me; your unwavering help has meant the world,” he wrote.
Usman has performed one one-day worldwide and 25 T20 internationals for the Inexperienced Shirts. His profession has not been as illustrious as his father’s — legendary bowler Abdul Qadir.
Abdul Qadir’s son mentioned he can be persevering with his dad’s legacy, embracing each his love for cricket and the teachings his dad instilled in him, as he stepped into the brand new chapter.
